SpeedBox 2.0 for Yamaha PW (until 2018)

Reliable second-generation tuning chip for your Yamaha-powered e-bike.

The SpeedBox 2.0 tuning chip allows you to suppress the speed limiter on your e-bike. After the chip is installed, your e-bike's display shows real data such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage and cruising range.

The e-bike's electric assistance switches off with this chip when reaching a speed of 50 km/h.

How does SpeedBox 2.0 work?

The user can activate the SpeedBox 2.0 adjustment kit on the display of their e-bike. After pressing the LIGHT button, a speed of 5.0 km/h (3.1 mph) will appear on the display. After activation, you can ride at a speed of 50 km/h.

To disable the chip, press the LIGHT button again. A speed of 2.5 km/h (1.5 mph) will appear on the display and the speed limit will be reset to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will work the same as before the chip was installed.

If you want to control your SpeedBox and lights separately, use the ↑↓↑↓ button combination. By pressing the arrows in that order, you can activate and deactivate the SpeedBox at any time, regardless of the control of the lights.

The SpeedBox is also designed for e-bikes that do not have a classic control unit with a Walk button. In this case, just use the arrow combination ↑ ↓ ↑ ↓ and the SpeedBox will be activated. You can easily disable SpeedBox in the same way.

In the packaging

When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike, the user will find colored connectors to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easier for you. Disassembling our tuning chip is just as easy.

If the user has any problems with the installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us. If you are planning to install the SpeedBox on a new bike, be sure to cycle at least 1 km before the chip is activated.
